Guy Downing is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Columbia West Capital. He has 20 years of investment banking and financial advisory experience, including nearly a decade of major-market investment banking experience. He has successfully executed more than 70 transactions representing a total value in excess of $25 billion, including M&A advisory assignments, strategic financial advisory, IPOs, equity offerings, debt restructurings, syndicated bank loans, high-yield debt offerings, and investment-grade debt offerings. He holds a BS in Finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
John Farr is Vice President of Columbia West Capital. He previously worked with Honeywell Aerospace's Mergers & Acquisitions team; PNC Equity Management, a $1 billion private equity group; and Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business.
Brian Burt advises entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies in all stages of development, from formation to liquidity. Having previously founded, capitalized, and run his own company, he brings a "real world" perspective to his practice. Brian graduated from Harvard Law School and is the Chair of Snell & Wilmer's Emerging Business Group.
