The Fifth Annual Southwest CEO Summit, an exclusive invitation-only gathering of top level executives, was a tremendous success with executives from 140 of the leading private and public companies throughout the Southwest in attendance on Wednesday, October 6th at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The Summit is recognized as one of the premier business events in the Southwest. The highlight of this year's event was Lee Sachs' insider view of the politics and economics of the federal TARP program. Mr. Sachs, Former Counselor to Timothy Geithner, the Secretary of the United States Department of the Treasury, was asked to lead the TARP effort and its subsequent implementation. We were honored to have the participation of Michael Bidwill, President of the Arizona Cardinals and Immediate Past Chairman of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and Eileen Klein, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Arizona.
